Food Trac has withdrawn some Lar brand frozen cooked diced chicken, because it might be undercooked. The affected two batches have been distributed by Lomond Foods. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Food Trac has withdrawn the affected batches from sale. The product has been imported from Brazil and distributed widely, mainly to catering companies in Scotland and to a limited number of premises in England. The affected products have been withdrawn from these outlets.
Product details
The product that has been withdrawn is:
- Lar brand 13mm frozen cooked diced chicken
- Batch codes: 155801 and 155802
- Best before: 3 December 2009
No other Lar products are known to be affected.
